Pipe replacement and repiping

For older homes with rusty water, low pressure or leaks that keep coming back, and for renovations that move a kitchen or bathroom. We replace the pipes, pressure test the new run, and leave you a record of where they go.

Labour from RM80 an hour. Bigger jobs get a written quote first.

What pipe replacement includes

From one failed section to a new supply for the whole home.

  • SurveyChecking the pipe type, its age and condition, and the pressure at the meter.
  • Choice of pipePPR, uPVC or stainless steel, depending on where it runs and your budget.
  • Section replacementReplacing the failed run from one fitting to the next.
  • Whole-home repipingA new supply from the meter to every tap, room by room.
  • Isolation valvesNew valves so a future repair needs only one room switched off.
  • Pressure testTesting the new pipes before any wall, floor or ceiling is closed.

How a repiping job runs

You have water for most of the job, because we work one room at a time.

  1. Survey

We look at the pipes you can see, test the pressure and ask what has gone wrong before.

  2. Written quote

You get the pipe type, the route, the parts and the time it will take. Labour is from RM80 an hour.

  3. Room by room

We replace the pipes one room at a time and keep water running to the rest of the home where we can.

  4. Test and hand over

We pressure test, show you the result and send photos of the pipe route before it is covered.

What you receive, and what you decide

You receive

Photos of the new pipe route before it is covered, the pressure test result and a job report. Keep them for the day you drill a wall or sell the home.

You still decide

The pipe type and the route. Which rooms and when, so you can plan around the work. Who makes good the walls and tiles: we tell you before we start if that is not part of our work.

Pipe questions

Which pipe is best?

It depends where it runs. PPR is common inside walls, uPVC for cold water outside, and stainless steel where you want a long life and the pipe will be seen. The quote explains the choice for your home.

How do I know my pipes need replacing?

Rusty or brown water, low pressure at every tap, or leaks that keep coming back in different places are the usual signs.

Do I need to move out?

Usually not. We work room by room and tell you in advance when the water will be off.

Does my condo management need to approve it?

Many condos need notice before renovation work. We give you the details they usually ask for, such as the scope and the dates.
